The Takahashi collimating tube is used in conjunction with the Takahashi TKA00441 collimating eyepiece. The collimating tube provides the crosshairs and added length needed to convert the TKA00441 ?collimating eyepiece into a sighting tube for more easily collimating Newtonian reflectors.
